India Monitors Nepal Violence, Advises Nationals to Exercise Caution

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs is closely monitoring the escalating violence in Nepal, following protests triggered by a ban on social media that resulted in the deaths of 19 individuals. In light of the situation, India has advised its citizens to defer travel to Nepal and exercise caution while adhering to local guidelines. The unrest led to the resignation of Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli as protestors demanded accountability and opposed government corruption. With both nations sharing a close relationship, India encourages peaceful dialogue to resolve the crisis, reflecting its commitment to regional stability and the well-being of its citizens abroad.
