IAF Vice Chief Confirms Successful Interception of Chinese Missiles

The Indian Air Force (IAF) successfully intercepted Chinese-made air-launched missiles during Operation Sindoor, revealing its advanced defensive capabilities. Vice Chief Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari highlighted the IAF’s preparedness against threats like the CM-400AKG missile, utilizing the S-400 and MR-SAM systems. The operation, a response to a terror attack linked to Pakistan, involved precision strikes on terrorist facilities and showcased India’s robust air defense strategy, including simulations and electronic warfare tactics. Tiwari dismissed claims of successful Pakistani strikes on the S-400 as propaganda, reinforcing the IAF’s effective multi-layered defense approach and intelligence-driven operations.
