ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems (TKMS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with India’s VEM Technologies to enhance submarine weapons capabilities, reinforcing India’s defense ambitions under the Make-in-India initiative. This partnership, which includes collaboration with CFF Fluid Control Limited, aims to develop advanced anti-submarine warfare systems and potentially contribute to India’s P75(I) submarine program. By establishing new production facilities in India, this collaboration not only strengthens local defense manufacturing but also positions India as a key player in the global defense sector, aligning with India’s strategic goal of self-reliance in defense production while enhancing its naval capabilities.
