Major General Atul Seth has taken on the role of Dean and Deputy Commandant at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, as of September 1, 2025. A distinguished alumnus of AFMC and the National Defence College, Seth is recognized for his extensive experience in clinical care and healthcare administration, as well as his contributions to medical research and education. He has held prestigious positions within the Indian Army’s medical establishments and was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal in 2022 for his service.
