IN-SPACe transfers five ISRO technologies to boost indigenization
IN-SPACe has successfully transferred five ISRO-developed technologies to Indian firms, promoting self-reliance and reducing import dependence in the space sector. These agreements, signed in Ahmedabad, will enable local production of advanced technology such as the Low Temperature Co-Fired Ceramic Multi-Chip Module for biomedical applications and a room-temperature curable adhesive for solar panel bonding. The initiative reflects a growing confidence in India’s industrial capabilities and aims to expand applications beyond space, significantly enhancing domestic manufacturing potential. This marks a robust step towards indigenization, with the total number of technology transfer agreements reaching 98, showcasing India’s commitment to strengthening its defense and technology sectors.
