NCERT launches modules on Operation Sindoor's valor and strategy.
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has introduced two educational modules titled “Operation Sindoor: A Saga of Valour” and “Operation Sindoor: A Mission of Honour and Bravery” to educate schoolchildren about India’s strategic counter-terrorism capabilities following the tragic Pahalgam attack in April 2025, which claimed 26 lives. The modules emphasize the operation as a significant military success and a technological breakthrough, showcasing India’s coordinated military response involving the Army, Air Force, and strategic command. The content highlights that the operation was a direct response to a conspiracy orchestrated by Pakistan’s military leadership and aimed at instilling fear in India. It also underscores India’s commitment to minimizing civilian casualties during the airstrikes, asserting that no civilian lives were lost. Furthermore, the modules illustrate India’s self-reliance in defense technology and its evolving global stature. The narratives reinforce the message that India will take decisive action against terrorism while maintaining a principled stance in geopolitics. Overall, the initiative aims to instill national pride, awareness of defense preparedness, and an understanding of India’s moral high ground in counter-terrorism efforts.
