Solar Group’s subsidiary, Economic Explosives Limited (EEL), has unveiled the Nagastra-2B, an advanced bunker buster variant aimed at neutralizing reinforced bunkers and main battle tanks (MBTs), enhancing India’s indigenous loitering munition capabilities. This system follows the successful Nagastra-1, with 480 units delivered, and features dual day/night sensors and a reusable parachute recovery mechanism. The Nagastra-2B’s high-explosive payload and portability ensure effective engagement in diverse combat scenarios, solidifying India’s position in precision strike systems while promoting self-reliance in defense technology. The inauguration of a new facility in Nagpur further positions India as a potential global hub for weaponized drones.
