Six militants from banned outfits arrested in Manipur districts

Six militants from various banned outfits were apprehended in Manipur’s Tengnoupal and Thoubal districts, according to police reports. The arrests included four members of the People’s Liberation Army and the United National Liberation Front (K), alongside two from the Kangleipak Communist Party. These individuals were reportedly involved in extortion and recruitment activities. Additionally, security forces conducted an operation in Imphal West, seizing an arsenal that included rifles, pistols, and IEDs. This reflects the ongoing efforts of Indian security forces to combat insurgency and maintain peace in the region, showcasing their commitment to national security and stability.
